During this time, it became apparent that pool owners, after having owned a swimming pool for awhile, had a common complaint, POOL COVERS, Regardless the quality and strength of the cover's material, all covers shared a common problem: THE ACCUMULATION OF RAIN WATER, LEAVES, AND OTHER DEBRIS on top of the cover and the chore of removing the mess from the cover before removal.

Both the Automatic Covers and the Standard Non-Automatic Covers had to be cleaned before removing the cover from the pool. During this cover removal process, most of the debris ended up accidentally dumped into the pool. Some covers are built with a very strong mesh material, designed to trap leaves and other large debris but still allows silt and dirty water to enter the pool. It was clear that a better cover was wanted by pool owners.

In the early 1990s, the emphasis of our company changed from pool construction to manufacturing pool covers. Not wanting to develop just another cover built with a better or different material, we developed the Hover Cover ®, the ultimate pool cover for both in-ground and above-ground pools.

The Hover Cover ® has a unique air-sealing device, allowing the cover to be inflated with a shop vac, creating a low-profile dome over the pool. Due to the dome, the accumulation of rain water, leaves, and other debris has been eliminated. Strong winds also have little or no effect on the Hover Cover ® due to its low-profile dome. Safety also was a consideration when developing the Hover Cove r®. It rolls off. Even if your children should climb onto the cover, the strength of the material will prevent them from falling through.

The above-ground pool Hover Cover ® is built with 14 oz polyester reinforced vinyl and are installed just as easily as other covers without the dome.

The in-ground pool Hover Cover ® is built with 18 oz polyester reinforced vinyl and are anchored to the deck.

We feel, due to the quality and strength of the material and the ability to shed rain water, leaves, etc., the Hover Cover ® with its 10--year limited warranty is the ultimate pool cover.
